Our intimate Café-Bar is the social soul of the Blakehay. Whether you’re joining us for a show, dropping by for a cocktail night, or settling in for a slow Sunday with live jazz, you’ll find a warm welcome, great drinks, and something a little bit unexpected.
OPENING HOURS
Our Cafe-Bar is open 2 hours before a performance for food and drink and throughout the shows. It also open for 30 minutes after the shows for post theatre chit chat, night caps and deserts. Opening times for our in-house After Dark Series Vary.

Blakehay After Dark
Cuban Cocktail Nights
We dim the lights, bring out the rum, and transform the bar into a Havana hideaway. Expect Cuban cocktail specials, live music, good company, and a big dash of tropical theatre.
Resident Magic Nights
Our resident magician hosts intimate nights of mind-bending tricks, sleight-of-hand, and close-up illusions. No rabbits. No top hats. Just jaw-dropping magic up close.
In-House Jazz Band
Our house jazz band brings the foyer to life with vintage swing, smooth soul, and classic cool. Think late-night speakeasy vibes and velvet tones from some of the region’s finest players.
Afternoon Tea with Live Music
Traditional Afternoon Tea, served with a musical twist. Delicate sandwiches, indulgent cakes, perhaps a glass of fizz, all with a live soundtrack from brilliant local talent.
