An intimate space with big potential.

Located on the first floor, our Studio Theatre is a versatile black box performance space, ideal for small-scale productions, film screenings, spoken word, comedy nights, and more. With flexible seating for up to 100 people (depending on layout), a small raised stage, and in-house technical equipment, it’s perfect for creative events that thrive in a close-up setting.
 

When you hire the Studio Theatre for a performance, you’ll also receive:

• Access to a green room and backstage toilets

• Use of the installed technical setup (details in our Hire Document)

• Box office and marketing support

• Front of house team

• Theatre bar open pre-show and during the interval

• Optional technical support (available at additional cost)
   

Looking to host a film screening? Our Studio Theatre is fully licensed for Film Bank performances – just let us know your plans when booking.
 

Please note: the Studio Theatre is located on the first floor and currently has no disabled access.
 

Studio 1 & Studio 2
 

Bright, flexible, and ready for anything.

Our first floor studio space can be hired as one large area or divided into two smaller studios – ideal for classes, rehearsals, meetings, training, or as additional dressing room space during performances.

Each studio benefits from:

• Beautiful natural light and fully ventilated space

• Multi-purpose sprung flooring

• Dimmable lighting

• Full-length moveable mirrors

• A small portable sound system (great for classes or workshops)

• Easy access to both front of house and backstage areas
   

Studio 1

The larger of the two, Studio 1 offers stunning views over Grove Park and is perfect for rehearsals, fitness or dance classes, workshops, or larger meetings.
Capacity: up to 60 people
 

Studio 2

A cosier space with direct access to the Studio Theatre stage – making it an excellent breakout room, rehearsal area, or meeting space for smaller groups.
Capacity: up to 40 people
