At the Blakehay, we often find ourselves with the odd single seat left once groups and couples have booked. Rather than leaving those seats empty, we’ve created the Solo Seat Club – a simple, friendly way for solo theatre-goers to enjoy great shows at a special price.
 

Whether you love coming to the theatre on your own, or you’re just happy to fly solo now and then, you’re very welcome here.
 

How it works

• Free to join

• Members receive email alerts when single seats become available for upcoming shows

• These seats are offered at 50% off

• Tickets are released on a first come, first served basis

• Maximum one ticket per member per show

Solo Seat tickets are usually released 48–72 hours before the performance, once we can clearly see which seats won’t be filled by group bookings.
 

Flying solo? Stay for a drink

If you’re coming on your own, you’re warmly invited to join other Solo Seat Club members for a relaxed post-show
meet-up in the theatre bar.

There’s no pressure, no awkward icebreakers, and no obligation to stay – just a friendly space to have a drink, chat about the show, or quietly unwind with others who’ve also come solo.

Participation is always optional, and runs on selected shows.
