Join us at the Blakehay Theatre for A Night at the Proms, a joyful Sunday afternoon filled with stirring music, powerful voices and plenty of audience participation.

The programme will bring together the HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band and the Cheddar Male Choir, performing a varied selection of much-loved music under the direction of their musical teams. We are also hoping to welcome a special guest opera singer to add another memorable dimension to the afternoon.

Expect familiar favourites, moving choral pieces, uplifting band music and a generous helping of community singing, with song sheets provided so everyone can join in. The programme will build towards a lively Proms-style finale, complete with flag-waving favourites and a wonderfully celebratory atmosphere.

There will be comfortable intervals during the afternoon, giving everyone time to enjoy refreshments and have a chat.

Whether you are a lifelong classical music fan or simply enjoy a good tune and a proper singalong, this promises to be a warm, uplifting afternoon at the theatre.
