Explorer Dome Lands at the Blakehay!

October Half-Term – Tuesday 28th October

This October half-term, step inside the awe-inspiring Explorer Dome and join us for a whole day of science magic at the Blakehay! We’ve got five incredible live shows, from epic space adventures to mind-blowing bubble tricks, perfect for curious minds of all ages.

Spaces are limited - Dome shows seat just 35 people each and the live science shows seat 60, book early to avoid disappointment!

The Programme

All ages welcome!

MAIN HOUSE – Large Dome Shows (35 seats per show)

• 10:30 – 11:15am – Wonders of Space 

• 1:00 – 1:45pm – Active Earth 

• 3:30 – 4:15pm – The Body Show 

  
  

STUDIO THEATRE (upstairs) – Live Science Shows (60 seats per show)

• 11:30 – 12:15pm – Bubble Show 

• 2:15 – 3:00pm – Science Tricks Show 
  

Shows are timed so you can see all of them in one day!

The Studio Theatre is located on the first floor and has no lift access, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users or anyone needing buggy access. All shows are unreserved seating.

Session One: 10:30am – 11:15am – Wonders of Space and 11:30am – 12:15pm – Bubble Show  Session Two: 11:30am – 12:15pm – Bubble Show and 1:00pm – 1:45pm – Active Earth

Session Three: 2:15pm – 3:00pm – Science Tricks Show  and 3:30pm – 4:15pm – The Body Show 

Session Four:  11:30am – 12:15pm – Bubble Show and 1:00pm – 1:45pm – Active Earth 2:15pm – 3:00pm – Science Tricks Show  and 3:30pm – 4:15pm – The Body Show 

Session Five: 2:15 – 3:00pm – Science Tricks Show

Two Shows: £14 per person Four Shows: £22 per person

Between shows, enjoy science-themed crafts and activities in our cafe bar. Perfect for lunch breaks, mid-morning snacks, or just keeping curious minds busy between explosions, bubbles, and space travel.

Any remaining single show tickets will be released on 1st October
