About the event
Big horns. Big beats. Big energy.
Gallowstreet are a high-energy brass band from Amsterdam — but not as you know it. Think live horns meets dance music, with the kind of festival atmosphere that turns a room into something special.
With seven horn players and a drummer, their sound is loud, rhythmic and completely infectious — the kind of music you don’t just sit and watch. Expect a packed room, serious energy, and a night that feels more like a festival than a theatre show.
They’ve played major festivals across Europe and sold out iconic venues in Amsterdam and Paris — and now they’re bringing that same energy to the Blakehay for one night only.
If you’re looking for something a bit different — something you can actually move to — this is it.
Already building nicely, so don’t leave this one too late.
Support: New Car Smell
Kicking things off are New Car Smell — a boundary-pushing trio blending brass, sax and live drum & bass into something completely their own.
Described as “a punk trio disguised as a brass band”, they’ve built a reputation across Bristol and London for high-energy, genre-bending live sets. Expect bold sounds, big grooves, and a proper start to the night.
