Kirsty McGee & Nina Freckles

Acclaimed UK singer-songwriter Kirsty McGee brings 25 years of touring and ten albums’ worth of beautifully crafted songs to the Blakehay Theatre.

Her distinctive voice has been described as “smoke and velvet”, while her song Sandman — featured in Danny Boyle’s film Trance — has attracted almost eight million Spotify streams.

For this special performance, Kirsty is joined by German-Brazilian artist Nina Freckles, making her UK debut. Nina’s intelligent, emotionally precise song writing and striking voice have drawn comparisons to Björk and Joni Mitchell.

Performing as an intimate duo, they combine two guitars, two voices, bass flute and musical saw, drawing from both of their catalogues to create an atmospheric and genuinely distinctive evening of live music.
