UPDATE NEW RELEASE:

Iconic voice of the band Nouvelle Vague, Mélanie Pain is carving out a solo career blending pop, folk, French and English. Her fourth album, How and Why, out on November 21, 2025, is a radiant and stripped-down record. The folk here is raw and direct, in the spirit of Kings of Convenience, Iron & Wine, or Emilíana Torrini: acoustic guitar to the forefront, arrangements pared back to the essentials, and that unmistakable voice — gentle, deep, and effortlessly elegant. Mélanie Pain will tour Europe with her band starting in January 2026.
