About the event

After the sell out Christmas by Candlelight we've invited Claire and Kate back to mark Mother’s Day with an intimate and unforgettable candlelight concert at the Blakehay. The theatre will glow with soft candlelight as acclaimed musicians Claire Goldie (violin) and Kate Robey (piano) perform a beautifully curated programme ranging from classical masterpieces to modern favourites, film soundtracks and songs from shows.

Expect a magical atmosphere, breath taking musicianship, and a relaxed, elegant evening designed to feel special from the moment you step inside.

Violinist Claire Goldie began playing at age eight and went on to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has performed with professional orchestras and quartets across the South West, recorded with a range of artists, and played in prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Her previous clients include Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Claire and Kate have performed together for over 20 years. Mothers day blurb
