About the event
The Great Baldini – Family Magic Show
After his two SOLD OUT Christmas shows, The Great Baldini is back with us at Easter.
The Great Baldini is a magical legend – a relic of the music halls and a theatrical performer of the old school. Known worldwide as The Emperor of Illusion, The Prince of Prestidigitation and The Maharajah of Mystery, he is a hugely entertaining stage magician.
Alongside Baldwin, his faithful magical dog, Baldini takes audiences on a wildly funny journey through the world of magic – from his very first magic set to the astonishing tricks and daring escapes that made him a legend.
Packed with hilarious magic, puppetry, ridiculous escapology and plenty of audience participation, this brilliant family show invites brave volunteers on stage to help Baldini perform his most baffling illusions.
Hilariously silly and gloriously theatrical, it builds to a grand finale that must be seen to be believed.
A joyous magical romp for the whole family, guaranteed to have children (and parents) roaring with laughter.
The Great Baldini is an award-winning member of The Magic Circle and Bristol Stage Magic Champion.

Community Transport Donation
Help Us Share the Magic of Theatre This year, your donation will help local community groups and schools experience the joy of live performance. Often, it’s not the ticket price that stops them coming—it’s the cost of getting here. Your support will help cover transport so children and older people can enjoy panto, Shakespeare, ballet, live music and more. Together, we can open the doors of the Blakehay to everyone who deserves a little magic.
