Youth Theatre (16–25) – Tuesdays 4.30pm–6pm   (Starting 5th May)

A relaxed, friendly space to get creative, meet people, and try something new.

Sessions include games, improvisation, and group work — all designed to build confidence and help you feel comfortable quickly.

No auditions, no experience needed. Most people come on their own.

Adult Drama – Mondays 7.30pm–9.30pm

Always wanted to try drama but not sure where to start?

This is a welcoming, low-pressure group where you can have a laugh, build confidence, and try something new without feeling put on the spot.

A mix of exercises, improvisation, and optional scene work — all at your own pace.

Play Reading Group – Mondays 6pm–7.30pm

Like a book club… but for plays.

We read scripts together, chat about them, and explore characters and ideas in a relaxed, informal way.

No acting, no pressure — just good stories and conversation.

Radio Plays – Wednesdays 5.30pm–7pm

Like The Archers… but you’re in it.

We bring scripts to life using voice, sound effects, and imagination — usually with scripts in hand.

There’s no expectation to perform to an audience, but if the group wants to work towards something, we can.

SEND Adult Drama – Wednesdays 2pm–4pm

A calm, supportive and inclusive space to explore creativity at your own pace.

Sessions are gentle and flexible, with the option to join in as much or as little as you like.

Carers and support workers are welcome.

55+ Drama Group – Wednesdays 3pm–5pm

A friendly, relaxed group focused on social connection, creativity, and enjoying something different.

Sessions are light, informal, and designed to be enjoyable rather than demanding.

No experience needed — just come along.

Youth Theatre (7–10 & 11–15) – Sundays

Fun, confidence-building sessions for younger groups.

Through games, storytelling, and group activities, children build confidence, creativity, and social skills in a supportive environment.

TALKS & WORKSHOPS

This is where we gather to swap stories, share skills, and have a go at something new together.

Our Talks & Workshops aren’t about sitting in silence while someone talks at you, they’re about getting stuck in, asking questions, and leaving with something you didn’t know (or couldn’t do) before you came in.

You might find:

  • Creative sessions – acting, music, writing, art, and all sorts in between

  • Backstage know-how – lighting, sound, set design, marketing

  • People with great stories – performers, makers, doers, local legends

  • Practical bits – wellbeing, confidence, and useful skills for everyday life

  • Big ideas in bite-size form – thought-provoking talks and panel discussions in the spirit of TEDx, but with a distinctly local voice

Some are one-offs, some run over a few weeks, and some are regular fixtures, so there’s always a reason to pop back.

Got an idea for a talk or workshop you’d love to see (or run)? Tell us. The best things we do often start with a conversation over coffee.
